PavementPro Seal recently partnered with Life.Church in Edmond, OK, to complete important asphalt repairs at their campus on NW 178th Street. With thousands of members and weekly activities, maintaining a safe and reliable parking lot is essential. Our team was brought in to address failing pavement and cracking issues across the property.
About the Client
Life.Church is one of the largest multi-site churches in the United States, with its Edmond campus serving as a hub for services, staff, and community outreach. The parking areas at this location experience heavy daily use, making it essential to complete the project efficiently while minimizing disruptions for staff and members.
Work Completed
Our scope of work included over 2,000 square feet of pavement repair using cut-and-patch methods. We removed deteriorated asphalt, made base repairs where necessary, and replaced the material with hot-mix asphalt, compacted to ensure strength and longevity. In total, we installed over 100 tons of asphalt. Some areas required full-depth repairs to ensure a solid foundation for long-term performance. This project highlights the type of asphalt repair in OKC that helps property owners extend the life of their pavement while keeping lots safe and functional.
Mastic Crack Repair
We also performed mastic crack repair in sections of the lot. Mastic crack sealant differs from regular hot rubber crack sealant. It’s a thicker mix that has aggregate blended in, which helps it stay in place and prevents it from sinking into the crack over time. Due to this, mastic is significantly stronger and is designed to last for 5 years or more. Hot rubber crack sealing is best for narrow, straight cracks, while mastic is better for cracks wider and deeper than 1”.
To minimize disruption, we worked closely with the Life.Church management team, ensuring staff and members could still access the property during construction. Their cooperation made it possible for us to complete the work smoothly.
