This busy restaurant required a carefully planned approach to ensure customers had access to parking during construction. Our team delivered efficient solutions that enhanced safety, appearance, and longevity for the 48,000-square-foot parking lot, while minimizing downtime.
About the Client
Saltgrass Steak House is a popular dining destination in Oklahoma City, renowned for its exceptional steaks and warm, welcoming atmosphere. With customers arriving daily for lunch and dinner, their parking lot needed to remain safe, accessible, and visually appealing.
Work Completed
We started the project early Monday morning, a slower day for restaurants, to minimize disruption. The first step involved asphalt patching to complete a full-depth repair, along with fixing a concrete curb and sidewalk to remove a trip hazard. With those repairs finished, we moved into the main scope of work:
- Applied slightly over 750 gallons of sealer in two phases across the 48,000-square-foot lot.
- Completed the commercial sealcoating process by sectioning the lot, allowing one-half to remain open for customers at all times.
- Began each workday at 5 AM to minimize inconvenience, finishing by early afternoon before peak dining hours.
- Finished the project with parking lot striping in OKC, ensuring ADA compliance and a professional, refreshed look.
By Thursday morning, striping was complete, and the entire lot was ready to handle the restaurant’s busy weekend traffic. This approach strikes a balance between efficiency and customer convenience, meeting both functional and aesthetic goals.
